ANNIVERSARY SRUTHY
Time is flying by. Who knew that we'd be booking engagement ring appointments, jetting to Copenhagen, paddle boating around Hyde Park, sitting front row watching Red Pitch and sipping cocktails in Shoreditch when we were chatting on Hinge 3 years ago. I don't think I'll ever forget the cardigan you wore on our first date or how much your smile melted my heart. Saying goodbye after dropping you off at Janet's flat, I had a fuzzy feeling that life was about to change.
And it did. I'm eternally grateful that we moved at our own pace, took communication seriously from the very beginning and have continued to improve. I'm also grateful for our frameworks, spreadsheets and calendar invites.. no doubt these foundations will keep us grounded when life throws challenges our way. And as long as we continue to put God first as well as uphold our values, there should be nothing we can't overcome. We set goals last year and we've managed to tick them all off. I'm eager to dream up new goals and knock them out of the park again!
Not only are you the love of my life, but also my emergency contact and the one who never fails to make me laugh. I'm sure once I compliment how beautiful you look at dinner, you're going to tell me where you bought your dress from and how your hair didn't go to plan.. I've learnt that's your way of saying thank you. It's cute, and I'm here for it. We already know Lina Stores is going to be deafening. In case you can't hear me, these past 3 years have been a blessing; I love you sooooooooooooo much.
